Each winner uses their Classroom Page as a true, centralized communication hub that engages and informs students and parents with organized, relevant content. The winners in this category have fully integrated the entire suite of Classroom tools including: Multimedia Blog, Discussion Topics, Class Announcements, Class Homework, Class Calendar, Class Links and Class Files.

Most Creative Integration with Other Teaching Tools
Winners of this award are teachers who enhance the value of their Classroom Pages by successfully integrating any external media device in conjunction with their page. This year’s winners achieved this by using digital cameras, Skype and SmartBoard technologies.

Most Innovative Use of Web 2.0
Winners were chosen based on their commitment to use Web 2.0 tools (podcasts, blogs, slideshows and vodcasts) in ways that extend learning beyond the classroom and emphasize collaborative digital citizenship. This year’s winners produced engaging multimedia projects resulting in increased student commenting and achievement.
